A simple but yummy smash perfect as a starter with some bread or as a side dish!
• Mix the artichokes, the cream ch**se, the chunk, basil (save some leaves for topping), lemon juice and salt and pepper in a mixer or with a hand blender.
• Add some fluid from the artichoke can while mixing, it adds some nice flavours and gives a nice texture to the smash.
Put the smash on a plate and top with some pine nuts, sesame seeds, lemon zest and a few basil leaves. Serve with toasted bread!
