Stockeld Spread - the cream cheese we’ve been waiting for. Perfect to spread on bagels or sandwiches, use in creamy pasta sauces or other cooking and of course, the perfect base for your cheesecakes or other yummy sweetness. You’re the chef. But we guarantee you a tasty, nutritious AND planet friendly experience.

~70% lower CO2e impact compared to conventional dairy-based cream cheese.


And of course, it’s full of taste, creaminess, and nutrition. Just as you’d expect from a cream cheese. After more than two years of intense research and development, endless tastings with chefs and consumers, numerous tweaks - we can finally and proudly introduce you to Stockeld Spread; a 100% plant-based cream cheese based on fermented lentils and chickpeas.

Through a fermentation process, Stockeld Chunk has gained a rich, acidic and salty taste, with smooth and crumbly texture. This dreamy piece of food goes perfectly with a bowl of salad, as crumbled pieces in a warm meal or on top of a soup or sandwich. You can also use it as a base for a dip or creamy mixture.

What are the ingredients?

Coconut oil, fully hydrogenated coconut- and rapeseed oil, pea protein, favabean protein, salt, potato starch, natural aromas, sugar (consumed during fermentation), starter culture. May contain traces of milk.

Wait, why does it say ‘may contain traces of milk?’

We produce Stockeld Chunk in a facility which also handles milk products. So better safe than sorry.

Is Stockeld Chunk a good source of protein?

Oh yeah. It contains 13% protein, which is similar / comparable to a dairy-based feta cheese.

How do I prepare/use/cook with Stockeld Chunk?

What is the shelf-life?

Our shelf-life is 7 weeks and each batch is labeled with their one best before date.
